Join us for the 13th Annual

Tails on the Trail Dog Walk Fundraiser benefiting the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society Sunday April 20, 2008

At Rancho San Carlos de Jonata in beautiful Ballard Canyon, a working cattle ranch since 1910 and one of the original ranches in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Join us for a 1 or 3-mile hike, poker walk, fun contests for you and your dog, dog sport and working dog demonstrations, booths, and a raffle.

Walk starts at 10:00 am. Activities and contests through 2 pm
Admission: $15 for adults, $5 for youth 5-15, $5 for dogs, Children under 5 free

Our 12th annual Tails on the Trail dog walk raised almost $30,000 to help the homeless animals of the Santa Ynez Valley! Over 100 dogs came out for the walk, contests and a good time.

Over 200 wine lovers joined us on October 14th at "Cheers for Charlotte"wine tasting at the Huber Vineyards. Norm and Traudl Huber officially released their Reserve Dornfelder wine, in honor and named after their longtime canine companion Charlotte. Charlotte's Reserve is a dark and friendly wine – just like black Labrador Charlotte, who went to dog heaven earlier this year. Joining the Huberswere fellow animal loving winemakers: Norm Yost of Flying Goat Cellars, Kris Curran of Curran, Bruno D'Alfonso of Badge and DiBruno and Steve and Mary Russell of Prodigal Wines.
